Cippanico Aviary

Cippanico Aviary takes its name from the cockatiel that inspired us living for years in Betti’s workshop. It is not uncommon for deep and special relationships to develop between humans and animals. This personal and beautiful experience has meant that Cippanico Aviary allows the little bird it hosts to refresh and find shelter at night while remaining free to fly in the surrounding environment. Cippanico Aviary is so enchanting that it looks like something out of a fairytale because in building it Maurizio was ideally inspired by an old doll’s house. It is designed with multi-level roofs, small opening skylights and miniature balustrades. Resting on four turned wooden legs. Equipped with a retractable drawer to contain food for the animal. The interior is made up of two rooms, one for a night’s rest, while the exterior is “painted” in stripes with ancient shades. Made entirely by hand, it is treated in every detail with passion and competence. We dedicate it to small birds and to all the people who have a special relationship with them.
